I don't recall if this has been covered before but what would be the approximate equivalent of a 90.00 meter throw "new model" vs "old model"?

Would such a throw be 3, 4, 5 meters longer with the old implement?

Yes. For any individual throw, there are too many variables to be able to convert. There was one study done early on showing 4-6m ON AVERAGE for all elite throwers but this was limited to a single year just after the change. I could never find an updated version of the study.

Depends a lot on the wind, too. The difference would be much larger with headwinds than tailwinds.
