Happy 62nd birthday today (Sunday) to an Olympic champion who competed in one Olympic Games and in only one event.

Our birthday athlete won that Olympic gold medal twenty days after turning 29 years old.

One of the most famous movie scenes in film history happened the same year our birthday athlete was born, however the film was released the following year.

The "star" of this movie shares the same initials as our birthday individual.

This movie "star" died seven days after our birthday champion celebrated a 33rd birthday.

Unscramble the six letters found in our title to get the name of this movie.

Education has been very important to our birthday athlete and it still is.

Who is our birthday person on this first Sunday of September?

    Psycho star Anthony Perkins.
1988 gold medalist, probably in the hurdles. I don't recall who won hurdles that year though.

Happy 62nd birthday today to Andre Phillips and nice job, bambam1729. Andre Phillips won the 400 hurdles at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games on the last Sunday of September. You might remember that Phillips graduated from Silver Creek High School in San Jose, California and then UCLA. He has his PhD in Education and currently works for the Washington Unified School District in West Sacramento, California.

          Thank you bambam1729 and mcgato.
