Sarah Shulze, a college athlete at the University of Wisconsin, died by suicide on Wednesday, April 13, according to a family statement. The family also acknowledged that the 21-year-old runner's death came after a long battle with mental health issues.

I don't think she will be the last one to quit this year for that reason.
Pushing yourself beyond your mental health limits just to try to get 1 or 2 points for your team at the conference meet isn't worth losing your mind over.

Don't know if Sarah Schulze's story will be covered here, but later today (4 p.m. Pacific time), NBC has a documentary called "I'm Fine, Not Really", about the pressures and expectations put on student athletes leading to mental health issues!
