Thanks for posting this stuff which would not be available anywhere else I guess. Sounds like that Dan Candiano guy was a coaching genius is he still at Hammond Hi or is he at a college somewhere?

I believe he retired in the late 70s

There was a little short article in a Track and Field News on the Hammond guys. I have the issue at home. I remember it saying something like the one guy was ranked number one in the nation in the 3200 and then by the end of the week he was third on his team! It also talked about their training and some other things.
