I don't think Greene can top Frankie Fredericks. He had similar times and was up with the best of them for almost twice as long as Greene.

Most consistent doesn't mean fastest.

I wasn't considering the times of the races, but how long Greene has been no# 1.

Frankie Fredericks has been consistent in both the */100m & the *200m from;
*/1991-1998/99 & 2002 (he ran 9.85w & 9.94s)&
*1991-1998/99 & 2002 (he ran 19.99s, and he won the Commonwealth Games title)

Most consistent over both 100 and 200 meters? Ottey and Carl Lewis. Lewis head and shoulders above every other male sprinter... Maurice isn't even close.
