    Re: beyond the solar system

Anyway, in voyager one, in the series of images included to be seen by the worlds over there, there was a picture of 4 sprinters from the 70's. Most likely from the Munich Olympics.

    http://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/spacecraft/ ... age072.gif

One of them is Borzov. Can you identify the other 3? I would like to know.

    Thanks

        Re: beyond the solar system

Looks like heat III of the 200

        779 is Wen-Ho Soo (Taiwan)

        901 is Edwin Roberts (Trinidad)

603 you get your choice of Motsapi Moorosi (Lesotho), Jean-Pierre Bassegela (Congo) or Hamad Ndee (Tanzania). I'm pretty sure it's not the other guy in the race, Richard Hardware (Jamaica).

Garry you're unreal... you must have hauled out the '72 Olympic issue and started checking heats in the 100 and 200 !! Even you aren't smart enough to not get outside help on this one !!

            Re: beyond the solar system

Hey, today's paper says that Voyager hasn't yet made it out of the solar system, or at least it's in dispute, so the whole premise of this thread is WRONG!!! :^>
