Well I had my thread on this same Historical board entitled "Top 10 Women Sprinters Ever?" moved from Current Events. I understand the rationale for doing that, and I don't think you'd find this thread staying over there much longer either.

ps - also interesting you'd mention Helen Stephens as I was leaning heavily toward including her on my top-10 list. I think she'd have been a modern-day Marita Koch.
