First Carib WR holder - I'd say Lloyd LaBeach's 10.2 in 1948? George Lewis had some unratified marks in the 40s too.

JC sprinters...Tyson Gay, Kim Collins, Jon Drummond, Daniel Effiong, Coby Miller, Tim Montgomery, Steve Mullings, Percy Spencer, Bernard Williams...that's 9!

I was thinking about George Lewis and his 10.2.

            JCers you didn't have...

Millard Hampton and Ato Boldon from San Jose City
Brian Lewis and Henry Neal from Blinn
            Warren Edmonson from Merritt
            Willie Deckard...Pasadena City

            in the 400...

            Tyree Washington...San Bernadino
            Butch Reynolds....Butler
            The Harrisons....Hartnell
            Antonio Pettigrew...Dade??
            Maxie Parks...Fresno City

I was thinking of Richard Stebbins from Grambling, who ran that third leg on the gold medal winning 1964 4x1 relay team. Yep the guy who handed off to Hayes.

and who constitute a sub-category of JC sprinters who won Olympic Gold medals:
                Lee Evans, San Jose CC
                Eddie Hart, Contra Costa CC

                There must be more?

                  FAMU 4 X 100

Give me Robert Lee Hayes, Bob Paremore, Reynaud Robinson and CC (Giants' KR Clarence Childs), with Robert Felts as my alternate.

                    Two NFL 9.3 Men

                    Was it:

Southern Cal w/ Earl Ray McCullough, O.J. Simpson and Edesel Garrison (not sure the latter ever made a reg. season NFL club)?

SF CC w/ Simpson and Matson?

The Vols had Gault and Flowers.

                      NCCU Oly

I'll go w/ the great Lee Quincy Calhoun, Julius Sang, Robert Taylor, a quarter miler named Ouko, (Robert?)and for good measure and extra credit- Vince Matthews.

(they had a pretty fair coach though)

                        Impressed!

I would go with Chris Hargrett however over Paremore and Charles Hopkins over Childs.

Paremore was the other running back on the Rattlers football team with Hayes the star back.

Matthews didn't go to NCC, neither did Robert Taylor.
