For the completion, Dana's maiden name was Ingrová (she still competed under that name in '48 London - I believe she placed 6th in the jav). Adams/Jefferson they were unable to manage, Emil died, Dana is alive and well."A beautiful theory killed by an ugly fact."

She was seventh in 1948 Olympics but, following her 1952 victory, she placed fourth in 1956 OG and second in 1960 OG. In 1958, at age 35, she set a world record for the javelin.
And, just to be clear despite a message board inference, she was not a twin (sister) to runner Emil Zatopek. She was his wife.
