The men's 4x100 and 4x400 have been swept at NCAA Outdoors four times, once by UCLA, once by USC and twice by LSU. What's unique about the first LSU sweep?
    How about...

    4x1

    Trindon Holliday
    Glenroy Gilbert
    Fabian Muyaba
    Xavier Carter

    4x2

    Kelly Willie
    Roshann Griffin
Efrem Coley (gotta know your LSU to get him)
    Xavier Carter

    4x4

    Yep!

I still see UCLA winning all three.

Not a low opinion. Just stating the facts. He just never found the magic that he had in 1976. He was pretty much a bust for the Bruins and never competed again after he finished school.

That was more about the alumni of.....as opposed to what was accomplished while there. Yep failed to make that clear.

Why such a low opinion of Hampton?

But first, you've got to take Millard Hampton off your 4x100. He never cracked the UCLA top ten. I'd replace him with Eric Brown or Warren Edmonson. In fact, I'd take him off of the 4x200. Greg Foster was a NCAA 200 champ in 1979 at 20.20. Millard's 200 best at UCLA was only 20.43.

    4x100
    James Sanford
    Lennox Miller
    Clancy Edwards
    Charlie Paddock

    4x200
    James Sanford
    Clancy Edwards
    Billy Mullins
    James Gilkes

    4x400
    Quincy Watts
    Jerome Davis
    Billy Mullins
    Lionel Larry
Millard Hampton was a 20.10 guy who took the silver in the 200m at the 76 Olympics. If he can run an Olympic third leg in the 4x1, I'll take that. He definately belongs on both relays.,

    USC

    4x1

    Lennox Miller
    James Sanford
    Don Quarrie
    Clancy Edwards

    4x2

    Clancy Edwards
    James Gilkes
    James Sanford
    Don Quarrie

Yep on your 4x4. (Erdesel Garrison?)

I see UCLA winning all three.

    started a topic UCLA

    UCLA

    Yep just a fantasy...

What school could deal with UCLA when it comes to the relays? Yes talking all time teams. Sure Baylor could hang in the 4x4 but not in the 4x1 or 4x2. What school could hang with...(talking all three relays)

    4x1...

    Mike Marsh
    Ato Boldon
    Millard Hampton
    Henry Thomas

    4x2

    Ato Boldon
    Danny Everett
    Millard Hampton
    Mike Marsh

    4x4

    Wayne Collett
    Steve Lewis
    Danny Everett
    John Smith

    hmmmmmm?
