Fantastic.
It's much too late to fix this, but I have found one error (and an understandable one). The authors assumed half-miler Cis Shaffer in '71-'72-'73 was the same person as the half-miler Shafer in '70. The latter is this person:
http://www.cba.bgsu.edu/asor/bios/boudreau.html
who graduated from the College of Wooster (OH) in the same year that Cis Shaffer was running for Cal State Northridge.

Of course it took him two years to explain why 1958 was the year that changed track forever, so don't expect anything too soon.

Thanks. You posting it is much less work than me looking up, copying, and typing results...
Heck, you achieving world peace is less work than me getting off the couch, from my perspective.

Somehow, the existence of that page on this site escaped my attention. Fantastic!
If I've got some free time this summer I may attempt to put together an a similar assemblage of the AIAW results. Indiana State's library website says they have holdings of Womens Track & Field World going back far enough.

Is there a website with NCAA results beyond the winner of events and national champ? Trying to find something with all finalists and all scoring teams.Tags: None
