I have placed a paper I wrote almost 20 years ago concerning wind, altitude and sprinting. I still believe that the basic concept behind my original paper which is to do a statistical analysis of a large number of 100 meter world class sprint races and find what the "observed" statistical relationship to wind and altitude is holds some merit. It is what GH on a much smaller scale has referred to concerning the 400 and my paper concerned the 100. I am hoping that someone with more time and expertise ( I have not looked at a statistics book seriously in years, I am a computer programmer these days) can pick up with some of the data I have gathered and continue the work. I still have a fair amount of data (around 2800 performances) that I will make available if someone wants to look at it.
