You seem to like trivias around here so I have one for you...but I don't know the correct answer.
( It's for a quiz I'm doing)
In EC in 1974 the world leading 400m runner missed the final. Who was he?
If you don't know about the results in the EC( in Rome) maybe some of you have all time lists from thoose days so you can help me find the best europe athlete in the one lap that year.

Jon is right, as Mr. B was 4th in the world lists for 74 (which is hardly the world's leader) and did not run the ECs (at least not the final)
