i was obviously aware ben johnson banned in 1988 but no idea of the whole story and i am completly fascinated.... obviously most of you will know this already, so any info i'd be greatful to hear, but what i gather is,

also linked mark mckoy, who vanised for 1988 games before the 4x100 relay and after johnson was banned then confessed to all at the Dublin Enquiry given 2 year ban and then was a celebrated olympic champion in 92, i cant imagine ben gettin that reaction had he won in 92?

he also trained with colin jackson after this, who has been quite critical of dwain chambers this week? any hypocrisey there?

Angella Taylor, who was always there or there about in the 1980s was another one who confessed to all, she said there were other women involved but refused to name then...

Charlie Francis who later coach Marion Jones and Tim Montomgery was also their coach which i do remember reading at the time so no doubt how he had helped them,,,

anyone have any more info on this its a crazy story!! and very similar to alot of scandals now i am particullalry interested into why Jackson was training with McKoy? and why McKoy was a celebrated olympic champion?

Go online or look in the public library for a book called "Speed Trap" written by Francis. In it, he comes clean, with the understandable justification arguement, of course. But a good read; the man knows his sprinting stuff.
