  • who am I ?part 2

I was born in NY City and was a double silver medalist in an OG, plus I was a WR holder for almost 7 years. I was raised in and ran for another country.

I can't find the reference right now, but I've always been under the impression you were born in Brooklyn.

Garry, you west coast dweeb you, Brooklyn is part of NYC, as is Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island.

I guess it's "born."? And yes, he was indeed born in NYC. Your question mark indicates that you got it based purely on the 2 silvers and 7 year WR. Pretty good Per.

Some Manhattanite want to back me up on this? If you're from Brooklyn, you say you're from Brooklyn, but if you're from Manhattan you say New York City, right? (yes, I know all about the 5 boroughs)

Of course, in an auto-timing sense, Kaufmann was never a WR holder, since Davis beat him 45.07-45.08.

give it up Garry, you're playing a losing hand. It was an OFFICIAL WR and Brooklyn is part of New York City. Next case.

Steve, you make me wonder if you really read gh's post...he KNOWS Brooklyn is part of NYC, but his point is that people from Brooklyn usually say they are from Brooklyn whereas people from Manhattan usually say NYC. And the world record had to belong to Davis since he WON the race--right?

oh for goodness sake I was just kidding him, and I am sure Garry knows that. As to the WR, with timing to the tenth as official, Kaufman was a co-holder of the new WR along with Otis Davis... even though he lost. Same as Lindgren behind Mills in the 6 mile in 1965.
