    I won an OG silver, and a national AAU title, and 14 years later won another national AAU title. I doubt anyone else ever did that. I also won 3 NCAA titles. All this in the same event.

      this is an incorrect answer although it is a VERY good guess. Yes, Gordien( which by the way is the correct spelling of his name) did indeed win 3 NCAA titles, and also won an OG silver in '56 ( also a 4th in '52 and and bronze in '48 ) he did not won an AAU title 14 years after the '56 OG silver. That would have been 1970 and he was long retired by then.

      To repeat, nice try satch. You get a certificate of commendation for showing wide knowledge of Gordien. Really.

        Thanks for these terrific questions Steve. It brightens up a dreary week-end.
        But for the current question it must be Dave Albritton. Amazing for a jumper to be in there that long.
