On the Duke/Georgetown basketball telecast a few minutes ago, they talked of a Georgetown FOOTBALL player that was once named NFL rookie of the year. Alas, they did not mention his T&F background. Who ?

Good work MJD ! I kept waiting for the telecasters to mention his Shot Put prowess ( NCAA champ 40/41/42) but to no avail. Sadly, they did mention that he was killed in action in WW II.
