Re: Sunday satch Trivia
yeah, I know that, but I figured it would be more fun to wait until I got home and pull out an old 1955 T&FN issue with ahigh school list in it; which I just did and it is indeed SUNSET not Skyline. C'est la vie satch.
As we both said tandfman, too easy a question.

Correct.
>This can be researched easily enough but my research materials are at home and right now I am at my business location.<
All you needed was Google. An advanced google search came up with Sunset without even opening a page.

OK I'll do it just to please you, and to provide a complete answer.... I am about 99.99999% sure this is corrrect:
The "GD" is Glenn Davis.
The Texas athlete is Eddie Southern, who was an OG silver medalist in the 400 H in '56, then continued to be one of the world's best runners in both the 400H and the 400 for the next 4 years; ran 45.8 for 440 yards at the 1958 AAU but Glenn's 45.7 was a WR at the 1958 NCAA the week before when Eddie finished second. In 1960 he just missed out in making his 2nd Olympic team in the 400H as he lost out to Davis, Howard, and Cushman.
He attended the University of Texas. If you're so smart satch where did he go to high school ?
I an DONE with this thread now.

What! And risk being outwitted? Never!
(Anyway, I agree with Steve and tandfman--too easy.)

Oh, we're reading it all right. But we agree with you--it's too easy to bother with.
