P.S. Marshall, "King of the Peds" (Authorhouse, 2008)
It's a positively massive, 752 page work on the great 19th century era of pedestrianism. A remarkable expansion on previous books on the subject, such as Cummings' "Runners & Walkers" of nearly 20 years ago.
