At the AARP Convention & Expo last week, a Maryland resident from NYC asked if I had ever heard of a sprinter named Carl Gray, a guy he's always wondered what happened to. The only success I've had pulling up that name is on some NY Times newspaper archives, where he appears to have been a sprinter and 880 relay man at James Monroe in the Bronx in the early 1960's.

Anyone recall a Carl Gray as a h.s. or collegiate competitor? I ask because the gent wondering after him thinks he held a 100 M mark for a few days.
