The book is a wonderful read! Pretty special guy! I to was at the Armory and am glad that I got the oppurtunity to shake his hand. A very amazing human being!

    Zamperini

A number of years ago Louis Zamperini visited the Armory Track and Field Center in NYC. He gave a speech, which I missed, but his autobiography "Devil at My Heels" was available. It is a great read about an amazing man.

That's quite a story. I remember seeing Louie at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Amazing that he is still alive today. I hope Ron Howard does make the movie. I'll see it.

    Article on Louis Zamperini

In the Kappa Sigma quarterly. Go to page 25 to see the article. My own dad has written many articles for this random publication, including a great piece on the all-Kappa Sigma track and field team (led by Mel Patton, I think), which is no longer on their website. I don't know if my dad wrote this piece or not since they didn't mention who wrote it. The Caduceus seems to have gone downhill in recent years.
