    Australia - Patrick Johnson
    Canada - Donovan Bailey (if you don't count Ben, which i'm sure you don't)
    Cuba - Silvio Leonard
    Ghana - Leonard Myles-Mills
    GB - Linford Christie
    Jamaica - Ray Stewart
    Nigeria - Sean Ogunkoya
    Poland - Marian Woronin

    Is there some trick to this? Or is it just straight forward.

      Almost Bison...

      GB is a tie, Linford and Dwain Chambers. Both positive, both banned (or about to be), makes you proud to be a Brit.

        Still almost.
        Canada is also a tie between Bailey and Surin.
        I believe Nigeria might also be a tie between Ogunkoya and Davidson Ezinwa.

          Well, technically Ezinwa ran .01 faster (9.91 vs. 9.92) but there is still some debate over the legitimacy of his wind reading (-2.3).

          Still, it's probably accepted as the official record.

            I was there. When they announced the time and wind I simply didn't believe it so I went and stood by the start. There was a semi-gale behind me.

              How dare you question the legitimacy of that wind reading?!!! I HAPPEN TO KNOW FOR A FACT THAT PHIL SHINNICK WAS IN CHARGE OF THE GAUGE THAT DAY. SO THERE.

                Don't worry, in 30 years he'll swear it was legal and they'll ratify it.

                  Actually on the 'Algonet Statistics' pages (courtesy of Peter Larsson) lists this mark as;
                  'Doubtful wind-reading';
                  doubtful wind-readings

                  Davidson Ezinwa (NGR) 9.91s (-2.3m/s) 1st place in Azusa on the 11th of April 1992.
