I assume we are talking TRACK & FIELD ATHLETE !

Also assume we are talking Indiana University ? If so it's either Greg Bell, Milt Campbell, or Bob Kennedy. I'll go with Milt Campbell.

( Duke beats North Carolina in OT ! All's right with the world.)

      The question was:
      "greatest Hoosier athlete".
      ANY sport.
      .....that's why it's so easy.

Well, it's not you, so I'll say it is Larry Bird.

          Ok - clarification.
Let's stick with the college theme.
          So HOOSIER - not SYCAMORE

You're probably thinking of some dweebie bicycle rider, but don't know any that went to I.U. so I pass. No superstars in Basketball despite the great I.U. history in that sport.

It's a close call by me
                    (very subjective),
but I'm calling Isaah the second best.

I guess you can't assume anything around here, Steve. I would have made the same assumption.

Hey, the rest of you guys. This is a Track & Field Board. If you want to play with hoops trivia, I'm sure there's someplace in cberspace for you to do that. Please find it and leave us alone.

Actually tandfman if you will look closer at the various posts on this thread, it was me myself that was largely the "other guys". I just kept pursuing the thread because it was fun but I agree, we should stick to T&F. But I'm a Hoosier myself so it was an interesting question, T&F or not.
