The guy who runs KYTrackXC (the Kentucky web "portal" for the high school MileSplit network) needs some recognition. He's in the lengthy process of entering more historical data than one could imagine, state meet results back to 1960, alumni lists for all KY high schools, school records for all KY high schools, alltime lists, and probably more. I've checked out the sites for other states, looking at the school pages for any number of high schools where SOMEONE should care enough to post historical data...South (Eugene), Hammond, Bloomington North and South, Carmel, and North Central (all in Indiana), Naperville (IL), Chapel Hill (NC), Laguna Beach, and others. Some of these have recent stats, maybe going back to 2000, most have have zero, zilch about alums such as Chapa, McChesney, Lakeman, Bolas, Hulst, etc and their records.

If you have any knowledge about KY high school track and XC history, who won what, when, and ran this record time or that, I'm pretty sure Jonathan would welcome your input. It would be great if each state ended up with someone with such OCD....er,...ah, dedication.
