Dear All

Just a huge recommendation of the above book. It contains Lovelock's journals for the years 1931-1935 and his training diary for 1936 (he didn't keep a journal for that year), all of which have been unpublished until now (though used as reference material by Norman Harris for "The Legend of Lovelock").

If I add that it contains profiles of Lovelock's rivals, articles on his training and a complete race list (and is the most beautifully presented running book I've ever seen), you'd be daft not to check it out.
