Wasn't there a marvellous St. Crispen's sendup on "Black Adder," perhaps by Brian Blessed?

But Kenneth Brannah's version of Henry V was much more realistic in a down-and-dirty way. When there's nothing on TV and I'm bored I sometimes watch his "St. Crispens Day" speech, it's an all-time great motivational speech. The French still haven't forgiven us for the following slaughter!

He was perfect both in Hamlet and Richard III. I saw them as a teenager. It was an experience for lifetime.

Sir Larry was one of the greatest ever. I have never seen his movies of Shakespearean plays, but an oscar for Hamlet couldn't happen today (maybe if Braham [spelling] had edited his complete version). I especially enjoyed Olivier with Caine in Sleuth. Good stuff.

Aiyeee!!! I had my first dental appointment in like 10 years scheduled for the day after. I had to get up and leave the theater!

I was always amazed that in the course of a couple of years that Olivier played a character broadly drawn as Mengele then came back and played a character drawn as Wiesenthal hunting Mengele. And he was perfect on both ends of course.

Never read the book, but I did have a dental appointment scheduled the day after I saw the movie. I rescheduled. Tony said he got a lot of that.

My brother-in-law is a dentist and an old movie buff. Says that to me every time I sit down in his chair. Still gives me a chill. (LOL)

Abebe Bikila, if memory serves me.

I read the book a half dozen times but only saw the movie once.
