I didn't see it but I do remember Bruce Jenner teasing Banks about Conley's 18.17 as they were commenting at the 92 games. "Oh Willey, oh Willey, Willey, Willey." Until Banks quickly told us it was wind aided, barely 2.1.

i was on a tram back from the athens olympic stadium after spectating some of the mens 100 heat sthere, and the jumps were on, and some guys were asking who he was because he had a pass on and he was explaining who he was and what he did and they just seemed so unintersted felt sorry for him
