all that bolt did was to show us what he coud run for 100m when he did it seriously
mj didn't get to show us his 100 ability in '96 in 200 shape of his life, as plan all along was for 200/400, just as easily as bolt may have decided not to bother running 100m last year, rested on that 10.03 from '07 & just run 200s
if he hadn't bothered with that 9.76 "warm up" & just jogged a 20.1 instead, we may never have seen 9.69
