    Nice list.
    Couple of things, though...
Michael Cannon ran at TCU. Marlin is his younger brother. He ran for Barton County and St. Augustine.
And I'd go with Greg Sholars opposed to Frater on TCU's all time 4X1. I understand if you were basing it on pro status, though. But Greg was a backbone on all those great 4X1's and 4X2's in the 80's and NCAA 60 and 100m qualifier(and my former coach  ). Either way, its a great list.
    You cant go wrong.

All this time I thought "Marlin" had transferred. Thanx

I cheat when I do these "fantasy" type deals. I go with what the athlete accomplished in his career as opposed to what he accually accomplished while an NCAA athlete. I'm hep to Scholars and see your point. TCU (as you know) could run three quality 4x1 teams, they've had that kind of sprint success. Only school with six sub 10.00 sprinters among the alumni.

      Stewart
      Frater
      Spencer
      Collins
      Patton
      Drummond

      now add..

      Phil Epps
      Greg Scholars
      Donovan Powell
      Leroy Reid
      Andrew Smith
      Bill Collins

      Who am I forgeting?

      Add..Roscoe Tatum

Is Greg still coaching at TCU?

I saw him at their Invite a couple of weeks ago and he was wearing purple and setting hurdles.

I didn't know he was coaching at TCU!
Wow! If so, I'm glad. He's a great coach and person.
Coached me and my workout partner when we were collegiates.
Hadn't talked to him in a couple of years. He really should be coaching, so I'm glad if he's back in the game.

Sorry guys but TCU's all time 4x1 would be: 1.J Drummond 2.Percival Spencer 3.Kim Collins 4.Ray Stewart.

How is Spencer a more accomplished sprinter than Darvis Patton/Michael Frater?

You obviously are not familiar with Perci body of work while at TCU. As a matter of fact the only person to beat Perci while he was at TCU was Oba-drive Thompson during his 2 yrs tat TCU while healthy. Perci was a stud and between 97 and 2000 there were alot of studs to come through TCU. As a body i dont know if there has ever been a greater collection of talent in a four year period when it comes to sprints. Perci was the fastest of them all.

Spencer made but one NCAA 100m final while at TCU. It was in 1998. He took 4th behind Mills, Holloway (felllow Horned Frog) and Hooker. So it looks like others besides Thompson did beat him.

Being that was a fantasy 4x1 above, it was more about alumni that actual NCAA dealings. All these guys have done more in the 100m than Percival Spencer.

                          Jon Drummond
                          Darvis Patton

                          Michael Frater
                          Ray Stewart

Since Spencer was a sub10.00 that does make TCU the only school that has produced six sub10.00 sprinters.

Then there was San Jose State. In a 4 year period...

Avante you missed the part about "while healthy". Spencer was hurt in 1998 and didnt run on the record breaking relay most (only twice during the year specifically) of the year because of it. Spencer was a rare talent that could run 10.4 with a bad hammy. None of the guys you mentioned except for Raymond ran faster than Perci while in college. I will say this in Docs defense, he ran 4 events every weekend. If he had been in a situation where he could have just focused on the speed events rather than the jumps relays and everything else he did he would be the closest to competeing with Perci. If you ask anyone from TCU that is familiar with the situation 10 out of 10 times they'll tell you the same. Also in reference to Spencers NCAA finals i would say look at the 97 finals in Bloomington. Let me know what you find.
