Dual Meet Trivia Question

I do not have the answer to this, but I hope someone else does.

Tennessee nipped Texas A&M for the indoor crown and reversed the results of their dual meet. Prior to this, when was the last time the top two teams in any D-I championship (indoor, outdoor, cross, men or women) had already met in a dual meet earlier that season?

Methinks it's been a while.

It would almost certainly be a Pac-10 dual.

The last Pac-10 one-two punch in outdoor track was Oregon and Washington State in 1984. The voluminous Oregon media guide reports that WSU beat Oregon 94-69 for the Ducks lone dual-meet loss that year (in six duals!).

So that's the benchmark. I'll work on checking out anything more recent.
