These were new to me and might be to others here (the 3 that care about historical stuff):
Dr. Graeme Woodfield, "Jack Lovelock": Athlete and Doctor" (Wellington, NZ: Trio Books, 2007)
David Colquhoun, ed., "As If Running on Air: The Journals of Jack Lovelock" (Nelson, NZ: Craig Cotton Publishing, 2008)
The first, in paperback, looks to be a very competent bio, with a number of illustrations. The second, hardbound, is a genuine surprise: a beautiful, well-designed, and exquisitely produced book--perhaps the most elegant serious athletics book I've ever seen (and that's not a small statement).
