Very good, dj. Yes, the first runner was Bob Kiesel. The third man was not named "Hell" but rather Hector (Hec). You were fairly close.

OK, I'll slow down a bit. Here are some more clues. The world record setting 4 by 100 men's relay team at Los Angeles in 1932 was led off by a runner from UC Berkeley. He gave to a sprinter from Loyola University of New Orleans. Third leg was the Stanford man and anchor was the great Frank Wykoff of USC.

The man who won the gold medal in the 1948 London 100 meters has the same initials as the Stanford runner on leg three.

I won't ask for the names of legs one and two.

ok, we all know Wykoff was the anchor, and 3rd was your Stanford guy, plus either 1st or 2nd leg was also from PAC 10 school.

Not necessarily. Everyone on this relay team went to a current Pac-10 school except one runner. Next qustion: Name that one runner.
