Don Person - Artist of Steve Prefontaine Painting

Has anyone ever heard of the Artist - Don Person?

Don painted at least two paintings of Steve Prefontaine. Linda Prefontaine, Steve's sister, has one of his paintings of Steve. Unfortunately, Linda does not know anything about Don. I have a print of Steve running at Hayward Field and would like to contact Don Person to get info. on who owns the original painting. Don may live in Eugene. There is no info. on the internet about Don that I could find. If you know Don and how I can contact him, please reply. Thanks!

Hi macbradaigh. Guy Pizzoferato here. I think I have that same print. Did you ever find out anything about it. The 2 things I am interested in is when it was made a print. It seems like I bought this in the late 70's, but not sure. I also thought I bought it through an advertisement through T&F News, but Ed Fox doesn't remmber that.
