        This post primarily for my friend Cannon... in appreciation of his cousin Sam Francis and team mate Al Sanford mentioned in this thread.
        As per http://www.mtsacrelays.com/info/MtSA...sChampions.pdf :
        That Tustin HS 4x880y team that ran 7:48y in 1965 is still the 6th fastest winning time in Mt.SAC Relays history 53 years later... maybe 5th best if the 7:48y is adjusted to 800m.

            Newspapers archives are good....if you have a subscription...the Times and the Chicago Tribune....searching via Google sometimes gets you there for free...

            Long Distance Log archives are fun to read...
