    Can we consider that his 20"36 on cinder in
    1964, at the Tokyo Olympics, would be more or
    less a sub-20" on modern tracks nowadays?...
    I think so.

    Yes I would consider this performance an easy sub-20.
    I would say that Carr could be running 19.7x-19.8x today in the 200m.

        Let's not get carried away here. It's a long way from 19.7, even 19.79, to 20.36. That's over half a second ! But sub 20 ? No doubt about it.
