Gonna be tough, VCR came out 1972, VHS 1978.

So far as I know there is no video record of Rono's 1978 NCAA display. McGrady's 600 would have less interest.

I shot 8mm film (pretty decent quality) of a great 600y a week or two before the 1:07.6...with McGrady, Evans, James, and Mills (if I remember correctly). It was a barnburner...

as I recall - every one of McGrady vs Evans 600 head to heads were epic. The essence of indoor track.

It's ~90s of footage from Rono's NCAA steeple. It's on a 4hr tape with lots of other outdoor track races (inlcuding a nice segment on the '76 Oly 3kSC).
