Some of the LSU ones can be pretty ugly. Maybe I just don't like purple that much.

what about the horrible all brown/bronze ones from some years ago? I want to say they were US sprinters....can't recall who. Everyone looked naked.

I seem to remember the Kansas uniforms as more pinkish than red.

I think the Kansas uniforms were pink and light blue. The story that I heard is that with their real school colors, their uniforms looked like a bunch of other teams. In a big meet, one of the Kansas runners was given the wrong place because the finish judges made a mistake due to the numerous similar uniforms. The coach figured that with a unique uniform, that couldn't happen again.

The purple monstrosity which Trammell has been wearing recently because he looks like a packet of monster munch.

The 'speed-sleeves' which the US athletes wore in Beijing were completely stoopid.

The Brazilian kits over the past few years have been plain weird too.

Mutola's kit from the 1991 Worlds too.

When Bill Easton was Kansas/s coach[late 40's to early 60's], the shorts were neon pink. Easton liked to bring attention to KU's track and field and cross country. After Wes Santee ran in the 1952 Olympiad, his KU warmuo jacket said on the back of it " Member 1952 Olympic Team'

You've already figured out how to add a link to an image to a post, so you're halfway to the finish. Just select the link, then click the "Img" button.
