what d u guys think of these ethnic group breakdowns?
Ethnologists stated there are three big ethnic groups: Europoids, Negroids and Mongoloids.
For the purposes of my research I identified six ethnic groups:

EUROPEANS and their descendants living in countries funded by Europeans (all the American continent, South Africa, Australia, etc.) + former Soviet Union republics + three Asian countries members of European sport federations: Turkey, Cyprus and Israel.
SEMITES: Morocco to Iraq;
INDOEUROPEANS: Iran to Indian subcontinent + Malaysia and Indonesia + Indian Ocean (up to Madagascar).
ORIENTALS: China, Taiwan, Japan, Koreas, South-Eastern Asia.
AFRICAN BLACKS.
AMERICAN BLACKS, athletes living in Europe included.

There's the problem of coming up with some believable definition of these ethnic "boxes" and then putting every individual into their respective box. As we're well aware, the category "black" or "negroid" or "African" covers such diverse genetic populations as to be practically meaningless. I suspect, from a scientific point of view, that the whole exercise is more akin to astrology than astronomy.....

And what about Polynesians and Australian Aboriginals?
Or Gypsies... or tramps and thieves?
I'd like to see a breakdown by hair color: blonde, brown, black, red cross referenced by eye-color.
Honestly, I'd be a lot more interested in best marks by height and weight.

Upon further review:
My original post was focused more on the geographical distribution of records than on defining ethnicity. I do find ethnic lumping I would reassign.
For instance: Most Iranians, while not Arabs, as are Iraqis, are more a Semitic race than Pakistan, which melds into India, but many Iranians have Caucasian roots traced back to European migrants retreating advance of the most recent Ice Age.
I do not see the logic in differentiating between African and American/European Blacks. Geographically interesting but ethnically irrelevant.
Israelis, while Caucasian, also belong in the Semitic group.
Where are the North/South American Indians, who have diluted Mongoloid roots?
Nope, I don't buy the ethnic breakdown.
Admittedly, ya need long legs to straddle this fence but It is either/both simpler/more complex than presented.

I will never understand why people have this need to pretend. I have no problems at all talking about the differences in us. Hell yes we are different! To act like we aren't.....why? Blacks are the speedsters on this planet now who in the hell doesn't know that? We need to ...pretend...that isn't the case.....why? I've never seen a great Mexican 100m man. Have you? Where are those Asian sub10.00 sprinters? Why does ...reality...need to be swept under the rug? Nobody is saying anything demeaning or disrespectful or degrading. Facts are facts no need to play pretend.

Jamaica will never have great distance runners......fact! Kenya will never have great 100m men....fact! We will never see a great white female American 100m sprinter.....fact! Simply...reality.

Just look at Samoa and then the Phillipines. Huge difference in the average Samoan/Filipino. Why pretend there isn't? There's nothing sinister (as was said above) about dealing in obvious realities.
