Lee Evans is the head track coach at South Alabama.

He's got nine athletes at the NCAA regionals in Columbus, Ohio.

and maybe he gets none to Nationals, and in another year would be judged a failure. But university administrators are likely to say (as in the Bob Fraley case I just mentioned over on the current events side under Regionals) "wow! 9 athletes!"

It makes track look good!
