Broke his own WR, no Olympic medals

In another thread I asked who it was that broke his own WR 55 years ago but never medaled in the Olympics. The answer was Pentti Karvonen (3000 St), guessed right away by Double R Bar.

But this made me think about my clue: Who else broke his own WR but never medalled in the OG?

I don't know the answer,there must be quite a few. I thought of the following (not 100% sure) right away:

Renaldo Nehemiah
Derek Clayton
John Pennel and probably some other PVers

Can anybody add to this list or perhaps do some research and provide the definitive list?

That was my first thought too, but I don't think he ever broke his own WR. He specialized in breaking other people's WRs...
