    rob you are of course correct about Futterer and Puma.

    And thanks for the info on Kaufman. I for one was pretty darn sure he grew up in Germany.

    What German sprinter was featured in some old shoe adds back in the late 50's, with the statement "These are the shoes for running the 100 m in 10.0 " ? And the shoe brand too of course.
