    Actually, I retract part of my statement. Only did home games, so when the Dodgers were in Vero Beach couldn't have been there, so no baseball exhibitions I guess.

        come on Garry, at least acknowledge that I got it. And obviously, "noone " knew it too but wanted to have fun watching others ( just me ) try to get it.

        How about Abe Stark ? What's the Dodger connection ?

                  According to this site, first TV broadcasts in Germany and Britain were in '35, so it's certainly possible.

                    I don't know about prototypes, but I am nearly certain that a common Joe in Europe received the first Olympic telecast in 1956. Hey, older Americans, did you get to watch Helsinki or even London on the tube? I kind of doubt it.
