  • Another Olympic/Lit connection

    The original last name of this great British writer (NOT the name by which he is generally known) is the same as of an eastern European Olympic champion.
    It may be too obscure for anyone to know... we'll see. Both the writer and the athlete are major figures in their respective fields, though.

      The writer has been dead for quite a while. The athlete is not only alive, but still competing.

        It's a little known fact that William Shakespeare's original last name was Korzeniowski.

            I was just kidding (as always), but you are not, and you're right! Amazing! Had I known, I would have said that Shakespeare's original name was Alekna.
