  • Father-Son Clearing Seven Feet

The latest Sports Illustrated contains a picture of Mark Jones in their "Faces in the Crowd" section (page 22). Jones, a senior at Summit High School in New Jersey, recently cleared seven feet indoors to join his father (Bob), who also cleared seven feet indoors while still in high school.

Bob Jones went over seven feet indoors as a senior at East New Brunswick High School in New Jersey in 1977.

Sports Illustrated says this team of Bob and his son, Mark, are the first father-son combination to ever clear seven feet indoors.

Anyone know of any other father-son combinations to go over seven feet, indoors or outdoors?

Maybe the number one team (in terms of total height cleared).

Soto's son or daughter only needs to clear 6-0 for the family to make it on average
