As far as an actual race goes, you'd have to go with McTear.

I give up; what's the point of that lineup? To make fun of different names?

Go ahead tell me how many Ebanizar's or Mozelle's do you know.I get a kick outta some of these "different" names. My favorite being former Arizona hurdler/Cleveland Browns receiver .....Fair Hooker.

I find these names "cool"......no disrespect intended. Nobodies laughing.

I nominate Boyd Dollar and McCury Walls. Both were 9.5 or 9.6 guys from the mid 50's.

If you're suggesting that commenting on unusual names may not appropriate, don't worry about it. Our official arbiter of taste, gh, actively participated in a previous thread that went off on a tangent involving exactly that. So it must be ok.

Nah, McTear is all used up by 80 meters and Crockett wins handily. On the other hand, Stone wins the 200 meter re-match.

Crockett over Peacock? I don't think so.
Reginald Robinson doesn't "sound" very fast but Herb Carper does. He should be in there. I admit Houston McTear "sound" fastest of all.
