  • Almost unbeatable all-time Canadian 4X100m...

    Imagine this terrific relay:

    1-Ben JOHNSON
    2-Bruny SURIN
3-Gennroy GILBERT or Mark Mac KOY
    4-Donovan BAILEY

... for an extraordinary sub-37" potential?
I believe that only a best US all-time national
team could beat that dream( please do not judge
    Ben JOHNSON...) team.
    That team would be:
    1-Mo GREENE
    2-Carl LEWIS
    3-Calvin SMITH or Dennis MITCHELL
    4-Bob HAYES

    ...for a sensational sub-36"70?...

"(please do not judge Ben JOHNSON...)"

Isn't that like saying what a great president Nixon was (forget that whole Watergate thing)?

He would NOT have been that fast w/o the 'help'.

You will certainly understand that Ben JOHNSON
has been very, very unlucky if we watch other
names who were supposed to be "clean"...

I prefer to see it as justice, not luck. But you are right; some others did not get their just 'rewards'.

Ben Johnson is the greatest sprinter ever! His dominance from 86' to 88' was scary. Until he came along running a sub 10 at non altitude was virtually never done. Then he made it seem routine. Yes he was drugged up racehorse but from the Balco investigation we will find out that nothing much has changed...........
