You want surfin'? Is there a better named athlete for that in the country than Washington State javelin thrower Jenna Dean?

Other than the Beach Boys what was the most popular surf group of the early/mid '60s.

My wife went to HS with J&D. She got stood up by Dean. I went to one of her HS reunions, Jan was there in wheelchair. He had a pretty bad accident and was pretty much a veggie.

For the record, J&D sucked as a singing duo. No Wilsons, they.

"Dead Man's Curve" was a bit prophetic, too! Even though Brian Wilson wrote many of their hits, they were great with harmonies.
