100 METRES 1972 - 1998 LISTINGS

Hi anyone who can assist

I'm wanting to know the top 32 male athletes (and their times) for the 100 metres each year between 1972 and 1998 inclusive (electronic timings).

From 1999 onwards details are on the IAAF website. I also have Roberto L Quercetani and Gustavo Pallica's book 'A World History of Sprint Racing' however that lists only the leaders and their times.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

I was wanting to see which athletes droppred out of the top 32, how long they remained in the top 32 and the range in times.

32 was chosen to give an imaginery quarter final line up in the World Championship.

I was trying to identify when automatic timing became a regular feature rather than hand timing.

The link was really useful although as you mentioned 1972-1980 didn't work.
