Is there a comprehensive listing of US and World age group records available for track and field for both males and females?

This list does not contain Kenyan or Ethiopian athletes (only 39 countries) so is probably not that accurate for 800-10,0000M and steeple.

for some reason that 8-year old 2:26 800M seems pretty awesome to me! i dont know much about typical times in that age group though.

also, should 5-8 year olds really be running marathons?

That's because the author is rightly very choosy about what countries are included - birth dates from Kenya, Nigeria, Ethiopia and China, amongst others, are notoriously unreliable. For the countries listed, this is very accurate, as good as you'll find.

Thank you for the list. It is very compelling to view and see the progression per event according to age.

Also, does anyone know of any listing that continues into the ages beyond 19? Thanks again

That list is terribly incomplete. It doesn't even have the record for the indoor weight throw in the 150-year-old category.
