no, tafnut, many people would buy the issue, before they knew who the centerfold was....

I guess that would work... on the condition that you buy all the unsold copies of that issue.

add more interviews from old US glories, like
Steve WILLIAMS or John CARLOS, for example.
I believe it would be very interesting to read
their technical impressions about T&F nowadays.

Being picky here..., but I'd love to see better coverage of a relay meet other than Texas and Penn. Come down to Sea Ray or another big meet in the South with a staff writer and photographer and do a big spread.

I used to read Amateur Wrestling News (the Bible of amateur wrestling). They would cover action in the midwest and east for the most part. I always thought there was a midwest/east bias and like most wrestling people they would occasionally offer backhanded commentary about how inferior the rest of the nation was in wrestling. But when a program in the South was dropped, they'd lament it. "Oh, Auburn has dropped their program. Oh, Tennessee has dropped their program. Oh, we're losing programs right and left. Title IX is killing us. Etc." I'd think, "Where were you guys when we needed you??? All you guys did was ignore us and when you weren't ignoring us, criticizing us!"

T&FN is NOT like AWN. I think they give good pub to all areas of the nation. But in my overly sensitive mind, I've always thought there was a teeny-tiny bit of western bias in T&FN. Possibly because most of T&FN's subscribers are out west? I don't know. I realize that while T&FN is the "Bible" and an institution, it is also a business.

Those who think track started in 1996 already don't subscribe to TFN because the material is too old for them.
